Mark Mullery is an accomplished animation professional with significant experience in various roles within the film and television industry. Currently serving as Assistant Director at Cartoon Saloon since July 2013, Mark has contributed to acclaimed projects such as "Wolfwalkers" and "My Father's Dragon." Previous positions include Studio Technical Director and Composite Supervisor for the Netflix and Nick Jr. series "Puffin Rock," as well as Animator on the feature film "Song of the Sea." Early career experiences include animation work for Kavaleer Productions and A Man & Ink, where Mark held diverse roles such as Animator, Modeller, Compositor, and Episode Director on the preschool series "Joe and Jack." Mark holds a 1st Class Honours BA in Animation from IADT National Film School, completed in 2009.

Cartoon Saloon is an Irish Animation Studio based in Kilkenny. It was recently nominated for an Academy Award (R) for Best Animated Feature film. It began as an informal partnership between a group of animators brought together by Paul Young and Tomm Moore in 1999. Cartoon Saloon has since grown into a multi-award winning animation and illustrationdesign studio. The studio works with many diverse, international Clients such as Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network.
