Matthew Greenwood

Matthew Greenwood has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Matthew started their career at CompuServe in 1994 as a Microcomputer Specialist. Matthew then joined Auro Computer Services in 1998 as a Research and Development Production Lead, where they designed custom computer systems and managed a production team.

In 2000, Matthew moved to CAS as a Capacity Planner where they were responsible for capacity planning and life-cycle management of traditional infrastructure. Matthew then progressed to the role of Senior Engineer - Cloud, Big Data, and HPCC. In this role, they led the team responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and supporting CAS's OpenStack Private Cloud, Big Data clusters, and High Performance Compute Clusters (HPCC). Matthew also managed strategic vendor relationships.

Matthew then became a Product Owner for Operations Platform at CAS in 2017, where they focused on capacity management, environment management as a service, and vendor management. Matthew utilized Agile methods and had experience in cloud computing.

Most recently, Matthew served as a Senior Manager in Cloud and Big Data Platforms at CAS. It is unclear when this role started, but it is ongoing.

Matthew Greenwood attended The Ohio State University from 1990 to 1994, where they studied Computer Science Engineering. Following their time at The Ohio State University, Matthew enrolled at Franklin University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew completed The Central Ohio IT Leaders Program at the Innovative Leadership Institute in April 2022. Additionally, they obtained the IT Leader certification, co-certified by the Franklin University Leadership Center and the Innovative Leadership Institute, in March 2022.
