James Miehls

James Miehls is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in both equity and debt capital markets. Currently serving as Managing Director at Castle Placement since November 2022, James specializes in sourcing and executing capital raises for private companies. Prior to this role, James held the position of Executive Director and Vice President in Institutional Fixed Income Sales at Fifth Third Securities from January 2001 to August 2022, where responsibilities included managing the sale of fixed income products to institutional investors. James has also served as Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income Sales at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. and NatCity Investments Inc., and began a career in finance as an Investment Banker at Ehrlich-Bober & Company. Earlier experience includes a role as Budget Analyst at the Office of Budget & Management in the State of Ohio. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University.
