Mike Franke

Mike Franke is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Caterpillar Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Franke held various positions within Caterpillar, including Assistant General Counsel for the Resource Industries Sales, Services, and Technology Division, and Lead Counsel for Americas Distribution, Service & Marketing. Franke's legal expertise encompasses antitrust, global mining, commercial finance, real estate, construction, energy, and mergers & acquisitions, having also served as Corporate Counsel at Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH. Earlier in the career, Franke was an Associate at Stites & Harbison PLLC and a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army. Franke earned a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
