Joe Violante's work experience spans over several decades. Joe started their career at Kollberg Johnson Associates in 1984 as a designer and later moved on to work as a design director at Gerstman + Meyers Inc. from 1986 to 1990. Joe then joined Peterson Blyth Associates as a senior design director from 1990 to 1997. Following this, Joe worked at The Coleman Group as a senior design director from 1997 to 2001. Joe then transitioned to be a creative director at FutureBrand from 2001 to 2004. Currently, Joe holds the position of executive creative director at CBX, a role they have held since 2004.

Joe Violante obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1979 to 1984.
