Elizabeth Kurylo is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public health communication, currently serving as the Associate Director for Communication Science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since September 2015. In this role, Elizabeth specializes in creating diverse communication products for the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases and provides technical support to global health partners. Elizabeth's prior roles include senior communications specialist for CDC’s Divisions of Global Migration and Quarantine and Global HIV and TB, as well as Communications Manager at the Task Force for Global Health. With a Master's Degree in Communications Management from the University of Southern California and a BA in Journalism and History from Drake University, Elizabeth has a strong foundation in strategic communication and media relations.
