Sohyun Park

Sohyun Park has extensive experience in public health and nutrition, currently serving as Branch Chief in the Division of Overdose Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2007. Prior roles at the CDC include Lead Epidemiologist and Team Lead in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity, and Epidemiologist in the same division. Sohyun began a career at The University of Georgia, working as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Foods and Nutrition. Sohyun earned a PhD in Foods and Nutrition from The University of Georgia and holds a Master's degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies from Sookmyung Women's University.
