Gerard Smith

Gerard Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and management across various industries. Currently serving as the General Manager at CDE Global since July 2019, Gerard previously held the same role at Combilift from August 2018 to July 2019. Prior to these positions, Gerard was the Director of Operations at Terex Corporation in 2017-2018 and spent 18 years at Caterpillar Inc. as Operations Manager from 1999 to 2017. Gerard holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management and Manufacturing Engineering from Ulster University (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin (1994-1998).
