Chenfei Huang

Chenfei Huang, PhD, is a seasoned researcher in the field of molecular cancer biology, currently serving as a Senior Scientist in R&D at Celularity Inc. since June 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, where work focused on NOTCH1 and its implications in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, as well as at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where research identified NOTCH1 as a novel tumor suppressor in HNSCC. Additionally, extensive research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine involved developing a diagnostic ELISA kit for AKR1B10 as a serum marker in breast cancer, contributing to a $150,000 NIH funded R&D grant. Chenfei Huang holds a PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Nanjing Medical University.
