Emily Averton

Emily Averton is a seasoned sales development professional currently serving as the Manager of Sales Development at Censys since August 2021. In this role, Emily has significantly contributed to the company by generating approximately $2 million in closed business within the first three years. Additionally, Emily co-founded and co-leads the Glow Employee Resource Group, which supports LGBTQ+ employees at Censys. Past roles include Team Lead for Sales Development at Censys, where hiring and onboarding initiatives were implemented, and prior positions at Rasa and Service Express in sales development roles. Emily's earlier experience includes serving as an Account Manager at Heart of West Michigan United Way, focusing on fundraising campaigns. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration with a minor in Theatre Directing from Knox College.
