Michael Cooper

Michael Cooper is a Toronto-based commercial photographer with extensive experience since 1978, specializing in dramatic imagery influenced by the performing arts community. As the official staff photographer for the Canadian Opera Company since 1983, Michael captures dress rehearsals, events, and corporate portraits. In addition to photography, Michael serves as a college lecturer at Centennial College and has directed chapter growth and member education for BNI GTA Plus since 2019. Previously, Michael was a professor at Ryerson University and worked with Stratford Festival Theatre on production stills and actor portraits from 1987 to 2013. Michael earned a degree from Ryerson University from 1978 to 1982.
