Jacob Stokes is a Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) in the Indo-Pacific Security Program. Prior to their current role, Jacob served as a Senior Policy Analyst for China at the United States Institute of Peace. Jacob has also worked as a Policy Analyst for Security and Foreign Affairs at the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. Before that, Jacob was a Legislative Assistant for Foreign Policy and Defense at the Office of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar. Jacob has a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
