Ryan P. Ellis has extensive experience in legal and operational roles, currently serving as General Counsel at the Center for Energy and Environment since May 2017, where responsibilities have included legal counsel, risk and compliance management, and contract management. Previously, Ryan held the position of Director of Operations at Operation De Novo from August 2014 to May 2017 and served as Board Chair at Frogtown Farm from March 2014 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes working as an Attorney at The Mergis Group and as a Law Clerk at Judicare, Anoka. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Copyright and Intellectual Property from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Film from the University of St. Thomas.
