Kevin P. Dermody

Kevin P. Dermody currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. since 2024. Prior to this role, Kevin held the position of Vice President of Legal & Business Operations at PENN Entertainment, Inc. from 2020 to 2024. In addition, Kevin has experience as Corporate Counsel for M&A and Securities and as an Adjunct Professor at Central Michigan University, teaching courses on new venture hires and new venture formation. Kevin's previous legal practice includes positions as a Corporate & Business Transactions Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and as a Corporate Associate at Fox Rothschild LLP. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor with Honors in Legal Practice Skills from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and History, summa cum laude, from the University of Scranton. Kevin also studied as a Visiting Student at University College Cork and graduated with First Honors from Scranton Preparatory School.
