Anne Megaro currently serves as the Government and Community Relations Director at UCANR and heads the UC ANR Policy Institute as Interim Director since August 2017. In addition to this role, Anne serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Land-Based Learning and was a Class 52 Fellow with the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation from October 2022 to February 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Consultant for the California State Senate from 2012 to August 2017, a Consultant/Contractor at CGI in 2011-2012, and an AAAS/FASS Congressional Fellow in 2010-2011. Additionally, Anne served as a Faculty Lecturer at Miami University of Ohio in 2010. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Animal Science with a focus on Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and a B.S. in Animal Science and Management from the University of California, Davis.
