Michael Yacob

Michael Yacob joined CentroNía in spring 2015 as the Program Coordinator for the Family Center and DC Childcare Connections and was promoted in 2016 to manage the Family Center. In this role, Michael proactively addresses practical short-term and strategic long-term means to meet the critical needs of families, and creates programming for parents in order to strengthen their parenting skills and increase their knowledge and use of community resources. Michael holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. Economics courses taken early on in the area of poverty and discrimination peaked his interest in the world of development at the micro level.
