John Huang is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Platform Manager for Semiconductor at Cepheid since May 2022, with previous technical leadership roles in biochip tape out, product validation, and process development. Prior to this, John was Product & Process Integration Lead at BAE Systems, Inc., overseeing a team focused on developing CMOS image sensor pixel processes from January 2018 to May 2022. John also held the position of Senior Product Engineer at OmniVision Technologies, Inc., managing the introduction of CMOS image sensors and ASIC devices from April 2013 to December 2017. As a Senior Process Integration Engineer at TSMC, from April 2010 to April 2013, John developed and ramped up 65nm and 45nm CMOS devices. Earlier career experience includes research at National Nano Device Laboratories on GeOI substrate and high-K films for CMOS applications from January 2006 to March 2010. John holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Chung Hsing University.
