Philippe Vandermersch

Philippe Vandermersch is a seasoned professional in the field of software engineering and deep learning, currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Cerebras Systems since March 2019. Previously, Philippe held various positions at NVIDIA from July 2005 to March 2019, including Deep Learning Libraries technical lead and software manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading the development of cuDNN and cuBLAS Libraries, as well as conducting applied research in the automotive group. Philippe's earlier experience includes roles as a senior software engineer and senior video architect at NVIDIA, and as an embedded software engineer at Equator Technologies, Inc. and Siemens, where contributions included advancements in VOIP and multi-conferencing units, resulting in patents 7,428,223 and 7,349,352. Philippe earned a Master of Science in Telecom with a specialty in signal processing from Télécom SudParis between 1988 and 1991.
