Prashant Sharma

Prashant Sharma currently serves as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Cerebras Systems since October 2024. Prior to this role, Prashant held the position of Senior Director of R&D Engineering at Synopsys Inc from February 2021 to October 2024, following a tenure as Director at Intel Corporation from November 2017 to February 2021. Prashant also worked as Director of FPGA Tools at Xilinx between March 2010 and November 2017, and as MCS at Calypto Design Systems from July 2004 to March 2010. Earlier in the career, Prashant was a Senior R&D Engineer at Synopsys from 1996 to 2004. Prashant earned a BS in Computer Sciences from Manipal Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994 and furthered education at the University of California, Riverside from 1994 to 1996.
