Janelle Poon

Janelle Poon is an experienced professional in the field of product safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as a Product Safety Manager at Cerus since April 2020 after previously holding the role of Senior Product Safety Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Associate and Pharmacovigilance Associate II between May 2016 and April 2020, as well as roles at Gilead Sciences as a Drug Safety Specialist and Drug Safety Coordinator from July 2013 to April 2016. Janelle began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Knott's Pharmacy from 2010 to 2012. Academically, Janelle holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho (2001-2005).
