Maxime Poulin, ACI, CRM, ASC, C.Dir, R.I.B.(Ont.), serves as Executive Vice-President, Partner, and Principal Broker at Covalen since December 2012. Additionally, Maxime holds positions as a Board Member for the Chambre de l'assurance de dommages since February 2019 and previously served on the Board of the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Laval from September 2018 to September 2022, as well as on the Editorial Advisory Board for Canadian Insurance Top Broker from September 2018 to September 2021. Maxime has experience in education as a course instructor in Damage Insurance at Cégep du Vieux Montréal from March 2018 to 2020 and has held various roles in business development and underwriting with AXA, Compu-Quote Inc., and ING Canada. Educational qualifications include an ACI designation from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education, an ASC from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, a CRM designation from UQAM, and a Law Certificate from Université de Montréal.

The mission of the Chambre de l’assurance de dommages is to ensure the protection of the public in matters related to damage insurance and claims adjustment. It oversees the compulsory professional development and the ethical conduct of over 14,500 damage insurance agents and brokers, as well as claims adjusters; and provides preventive oversight and enforces discipline on individuals working in these fields.
