Alex Weil has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Alex currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at Chardan NexTech Acquisition 2 Corp. Since 2020, they have also held the role of Managing Director, Principal Investments & Co-Head, FinTech Investment Banking at Chardan. Alex Weil has been a Board Member at Ventoux CCM Acquisition Corp since 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Mentor at the Hartford InsurTech Hub from 2018. Alex was also the Managing Director, Head of InsurTech and Information Providers at SenaHill Partners, LP from 2018 to 2020. Before that, Alex held various positions at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, Lazard, UBS Investment Bank, Citigroup, and GE Capital.
Alex Weil has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, Alex holds a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification from the CFA Institute. Alex has also obtained several additional certifications including Series 24 and Series 7 & 79 & 63 from FINRA.
