Ashad Kabir

Ashad Kabir, PhD, FHEA, SMIEEE, currently serves as the Leader of the Imaging and Sensing Research Group and Professor at Charles Sturt University since October 2015. With a robust background in computer science and software engineering, Kabir has held numerous academic roles including Course Coordinator for Bachelor of Applied Research (Honours) and Deputy Leader for the Data Mining Research Group. Prior experiences include a Research Fellow position at Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Laboratory and Adjunct Research Fellow roles at Swinburne University of Technology, where Kabir supervised multiple PhD students. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Software Engineering from Swinburne University and a Master of Science from Pusan National University. Throughout various roles, Kabir has contributed to significant projects and academic publications, emphasizing expertise in mobile applications and data analytics.
