Benjamin Aland currently serves as the Stormwater Asset Manager for the City of Charleston, focusing on mapping inventory and conducting condition assessments of stormwater drainage infrastructure since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Breakers Bar and Grill, where Benjamin progressed from bouncer to bartender in a high-volume environment, and an internship as a Wildlife Biologist with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, utilizing drones for shellfish research. Additional positions include laboratory work at Aquatox Laboratory, pet care and monitoring responsibilities at various pet service facilities, and customer service roles in moving and educational capacities with the Boy Scouts of America. Benjamin holds an Advanced Diploma from Robert E. Lee High School and a degree from the University of South Carolina.
