Ashley Kirk is currently serving as Deputy Hospital Manager at CHEC, responsible for supporting the Hospital Manager and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure safe and efficient care in the cataract pathway. Previously, Ashley worked as an Anaesthetic Technician at MERCY HOSPITAL DUNEDIN LIMITED and as a Registered Operating Department Practitioner at Nottingham University Hospital, specializing in thoracic surgeries. Ashley also had the opportunity to serve as a Charge Operating Department Practitioner on a charitable mission in Nairobi, Kenya. With a background in Operating Department Practice and additional training in Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support and Teaching, Ashley has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry.
