Chris Hoelck

Chris Hoelck is an experienced editor and proofreader with a diverse background in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a copyeditor and proofreader at Conair LLC since March 2022, Chris also holds positions as a proofreader and copy content manager at Chefman since January 2021. Previous freelance editing work was completed from June 2020 to January 2021. Prior to these roles, Chris was the managing editor at Fine Cooking / Taunton Press from July 2019 to June 2020 and spent 26 years at The Taunton Press as a senior copy/production editor. Chris began a career in editing as a copy editor for the Hartford Courant from 1989 to 1991. Chris holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earned between 1982 and 1986.
