Managing Director- Latin America & The Caribbean at Chemonics

Marcos Moreno has extensive experience in international development, particularly in the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Managing Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Chemonics International since January 2011, Marcos has held various leadership roles, including Chief of Party for significant initiatives such as the Feed the Future programs in Bangladesh and Uganda. Previously, Marcos was the Chief of Party and Director for South America at Chemonics International from April 2009 to September 2010, and served as Chief of Party for MAPA II at TechnoServe from 2007 to 2009, as well as Regional Operation Manager for the East Africa Coffee Initiative. Marcos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Sciences from Texas A&M University, earned between 1980 and 1985.
