Carlos Tovar A.

Carlos Tovar A. is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with Chevron since 2003 in various leadership roles, including SLGC Project Mechanical Lead and Facilities Engineer for Big Foot. Responsibilities encompassed overseeing the installation and commissioning of complex rotating machinery, managing large engineering teams, and executing projects with substantial budgets, such as the Anchor project. Prior to Chevron, Carlos worked at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where supervisory duties included managing machinery teams and conducting performance evaluations for gas compression plants. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, completed in 1986.
