Ian Templeton

Ian Templeton currently serves as the Wheatstone LNG iCSU Process Safety Manager at Chevron Australia, a role held since November 2015, focusing on safe commissioning activities in collaboration with Bechtel and Chevron teams. With extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Ian has also managed production support for the Wheatstone project since May 2012 and previously supervised operations at Chevron Angola from 2008 to 2012. Ian's earlier roles include the WA Oil Asset Production Manager for Chevron Australia, where responsibilities included environmental stewardship supporting the Gorgon LNG Project, and positions as a Lead Petroleum Engineer at WAPET and a Field Petroleum Engineering Supervisor at Santos Ltd. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from The University of Queensland.
