Anna Messina is an experienced ecologist currently working at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where responsibilities include ecological restoration, native species monitoring, and maintaining shoreline plantings. With previous roles including Urban Agriculture Intern at Loyola University Chicago and Field Assistant at the Bird Conservation Network, Anna has developed expertise in sustainable agriculture and ornithology. As a Site Manager for the Forest Preserves of Cook County, Anna contributed to the protection of natural habitats and biodiversity. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science with a minor in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago and has additional skills in managing and teaching swim lessons from experience as a Swim Instructor at Midwest Pool Management.
