Senior Accountant at Chicago CRED

As the Senior Accountant, Leonardo Castillo is responsible for coordinating financial functions and programs in the finance and operations team, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and executing monthly and yearly close processes. Prior to joining CRED, Leonardo worked with Chicago International Charter Schools, where he started as their Senior Staff Accountant and later served as their Accounting Manager. He has worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with the last 3 years in NFP organizations. Leonardo is a graduate of DePaul University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
