Esmeralda Cossyleon

Esmeralda Cossyleon currently serves as District 3 Chief at the Chicago Public Library since August 2022, following a role as Branch Manager at the Chicago Lawn Branch from June 2016 to August 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Librarian 1 at both the Garfield Ridge Branch (June 2015 - June 2016) and the main Chicago Public Library (October 2004 - March 2012), as well as Library Associate and Library Clerk from 2000 to 2004. Esmeralda holds a Master of Science in Librarianship and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2007 - 2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago (1998 - 2003).
