James G. Ongena

James G. Ongena currently serves as General Counsel at Chicago Trading Company since January 2019. Previously, Ongena held multiple positions at the Chicago Stock Exchange from August 2005 to July 2018, including Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Ongena's earlier career includes roles at KPMG in the Forensic Services Practice and at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in the Strategy, Finance, and Economics Practice. Ongena obtained a JD with a Certificate in Taxation from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
