John Hobbs

John Hobbs has extensive experience in public safety and law enforcement within the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, starting in 2003. As the Senior Executive Officer of Communications and Executive Director of Public Safety since October 2008, John manages a public safety department of 550 employees on the Choctaw Nation reservation. Prior to this role, John served as the Director of Law Enforcement from 2003 to 2008, overseeing 35 Tribal Police Officers across 10½ counties, and began as a Law Enforcement Supervisor/Investigator responsible for the operations of 10 Tribal Police Officers in the northern area of the Nation.
