Jason Swaren serves as Senior Vice President, Execution, for Chord Energy. Mr. Swaren has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He most recently served as Vice President, Operations, for Oasis Petroleum, beginning in 2015. Prior to his role as Vice President, Mr. Swaren served as General Manager, after joining Oasis in 2012.
Mr. Swaren began his career at Schlumberger and held various positions during his 24-year tenure. Some of these positions and accomplishments include North America Pressure Pumping Supply Chain Manager; North America Coiled Tubing Manager, managing 19 coiled tubing districts from Alaska to the offshore east coast of Canada to the Gulf of Mexico to California; Country Manager Qatar, where he grew the business from 13 employees to 170 employees in less than two years; and Field Service Manager in Alice, Texas, where the highest pressure coiled tubing job in the world was performed.
Mr. Swaren holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
