Michelle Slyder

Michelle Slyder is an experienced professional in environmental engineering and compliance management with a strong background in the pipeline and gas industry. Currently serving as Principal at CHS Inc. since March 2023, Michelle leads business initiatives related to acquisitions, divestitures, tribal and government relations, and PHMSA compliance. Michelle's active roles include serving on the Board of Directors as a Special Director for the Pipeline Association for Public Awareness and representing the oil and gas industry on the Montana State Emergency Response Commission. Previous positions include leadership roles within the Montana CGA Committee and the Montana Utility Coordinating Council, along with ownership of Biere Environmental Services. Michelle's early career includes engineering roles and significant contributions to the Montana Liquid and Gas Pipeline Association. Academic credentials include a BS in Environmental Engineering from Montana Technological University and advanced coursework in GIS at Penn State University.
