Amy Olah

Amy Olah is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in innovation banking and business development. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Canada Origination at CIBC since January 2018, Amy manages origination teams across Canada, focusing on financing equity-backed software companies. Prior to this role, Amy was a Managing Director at CIBC, emphasizing financing for software companies from seed to late-stage. Amy's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director at Wellington Financial LP from January 2005 to January 2018, where responsibilities included business development across Canada and the eastern United States. Amy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Management Economics from the University of Guelph, earned in 1999.
