Maryam Moshiri

Maryam Moshiri is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the Alternate Solutions Group at CIBC, a position held since August 2016. In this role, Moshiri oversees the deployment and execution of innovative payment and money movement solutions, leveraging capital markets trading and technology. Prior to this, Moshiri held various positions at CIBC, including Senior Manager of Payment Innovation & Partnerships and Associate in the Graduate Leadership Program, focusing on finance strategy, corporate development, and investor relations. Moshiri began her career as a Summer Associate in Capital Markets Risk Management at CIBC and worked as a Building Science Consultant at Morrison Hershfield. Moshiri holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a BASc (Hon) in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
