Daniela Vega has extensive experience in management and program coordination, currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Director General at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) since March 2012. Previous roles at CIMMYT include Program Manager and Liaison Officer for Integrated Development, and Program Manager for Mexico and Latin America within the Sustainable Intensification Program. Prior to CIMMYT, Daniela worked at Industría Quimica Phanamericana S.A. de C.V. in administrative and operational roles and interned at Tegrafik and Agrana. Daniela holds a Certificate in Management Excellence from Harvard Business School Executive Education (2019-2021), a Project Management Certificate from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2015-2016), and is an alumnus of Tecnológico de Monterrey and The University of British Columbia.
