Karthikeyan Balasubramaniam has extensive work experience in the field of software development and DevOps. Karthikeyan is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer, DevSecOps at Circles.Life since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Credit Suisse, starting as a Software Developer in 2000 and progressing to Senior Technical & Project Lead - Assistant Vice President and Senior Technical, SRE & DevOps Lead - Vice President. At Credit Suisse, they managed development teams, delivered complex software applications and services, and implemented end-to-end DevOps pipelines using various tools and technologies such as Gitlab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Docker, Sonarqube, Nexus IQ, Vault, Trivvy, and Artifactory. Karthikeyan also has experience in migrating applications into microservices using OpenShift platform with Gitlab delivery pipelines and Ansible, as well as setting up Kubernetes infrastructure in multiple cloud environments using Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and respective cloud consoles. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Consultant at i-flex Solutions - Oracle and Etnoteam before joining Credit Suisse.
Karthikeyan Balasubramaniam holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from the Institute of Road and Transport Technology, which they completed between 1994 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary School education at Kandasamy Kandar Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, spanning from 1982 to 1994.
