Omer Yampel

Omer Yampel is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Threat Detection Engineering Lead at Citadel since September 2021. Previously, Omer held the position of Incident Response Manager at Cybereason from November 2019 to September 2021 and also worked as a Senior Incident Response Consultant. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and various security analyst positions at Sony, culminating in the role of Principal Security Analyst. Omer's experience in the Israeli Air Force's CERT as a Security Analyst provided a strong foundation in malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response.
