Samir Ahmed holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Power Systems & Project Management from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sir Syed University. Samir currently serves as the Manager of Network Portfolio and Optimisation at CitiPower and Powercor, a position held since February 2017, and previously held the role of Senior Asset Strategy Lead at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a Strategic Asset Management Engineer at SA Power Networks from January 2010 to February 2017 and as Team Lead - Engineering at Hutchison Ports, where responsibilities included commissioning and assembling STS & RTG projects. Samir's career began as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Siemens from January 2006 to January 2007.
