Gaby Germanos

Gaby Germanos currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Finance Cabinet for the City of Boston, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Gaby was the Chief of Staff for the Equity & Inclusion Cabinet from July 2018 to January 2023, managing daily operations for over 60 employees and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at improving access for underrepresented communities. Gaby has extensive experience in budget management, having previously held roles as Assistant Director and Senior Management Analyst within the Office of Budget Management, where responsibilities included overseeing a nearly $4 billion budget and leading the Boston Public Schools budget analysis. Gaby's early career included internships with various organizations, such as the Harvard College Women's Center and the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, combined with a solid educational background, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
