Bryce Carlson currently serves as the Assistant Inspector General for the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General since February 2023. Prior to this role, Bryce held various positions at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from July 2018 to January 2023, contributing as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Felony Trial Division across multiple capacities. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Inspector General for the Office of Executive Inspector General for the Agencies of the Illinois Governor, where investigations were conducted on revolving door matters. Bryce's legal career also includes work as a Criminal Defense Attorney and a Prosecutor for the City of Chicago's Department of Law. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Iowa.
