Lorelei Futvoye

Lorelei Futvoye is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and social media management. Currently serving as the Deputy Communications Director for the City of San Angelo, Texas since September 2019, Lorelei writes and edits press releases and speeches, conducts interviews for the local government news channel, and manages social media presence. Prior roles include Social Media Marketing Coordinator at Newman Connection, Marketing and Social Media Coordinator at Wesley-Wayne Interiors, and Digital Editor/Marketing Manager at People Newspapers. Starting a career as a News Reporter at Star Local Media, Lorelei has consistently demonstrated expertise in crafting engaging content and audience strategy. Lorelei holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French from Texas Tech University and has completed advanced French language courses at Campus International de Cannes.
