Alex Ulrich

Alex Ulrich has extensive experience in environmental services, currently serving as an Environmental Services Specialist for the City of San José since August 2017, with previous roles as an Environmental Inspector II and Environmental Inspector. Alex's background includes a Social Media Internship at the Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies Program at UC Berkeley, where responsibilities included community outreach for a fundraising campaign and managing the program's online presence. Prior experience also includes work as an Energy Specialist at Rising Sun Energy Center, focusing on energy efficiency installations and homeowner education, and a Video Design Internship at Vetter Software, where Alex created customer support videos. Earlier, Alex taught piano to children and developed individualized education plans. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
