Michael Beresnak is a seasoned landscape architect with extensive experience in urban design and project management. Currently serving as a Landscape Architect for the City of Saskatoon since May 2019, Michael also runs Michael Beresnak Consulting and participates in various projects in the Calgary area. Previously, positions included Senior Landscape Architect at exp Services Inc. and roles at Stantec and Gibbs Brown & Associates. Michael has held leadership positions with the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) and the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects (AALA), contributing to the advancement of the profession. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Manitoba, along with a degree in Architectural Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
