Alex Carrillo

Alex Carrillo is a seasoned engineer specializing in robotics and software development, currently serving as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Civ Robotics, focusing on task and motion planning for autonomous forklifts in solar farm construction. Prior experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Software Engineer II at Astrolab, where Alex developed robotic perception technologies for upcoming lunar missions, and as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at FarmWise, working on innovative agricultural robotic systems. Earlier roles include software development at SpaceX for automation in rocket testing, internships at Apple and Tempo Automation, and research experience at Yale University’s GRAB Lab.
