Peter Boyer is an accomplished composer, orchestrator, and conductor with a distinguished career in music. Since 2003, Peter has operated Propulsive Music, a BMI-affiliated music publishing company, where a diverse catalog of compositions has garnered hundreds of performances by leading American orchestras and tens of thousands of broadcasts on classical radio. Peter serves as a Professor of Music at Claremont Graduate University, focusing on 20th- and 21st-century music and composition. Notable projects include the composition of "Ellis Island: The Dream of America," performed by the Pacific Symphony for PBS' "Great Performances" series, and prior appointments as Composer-In-Residence with both the Pasadena Symphony and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
