Subra Narayan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technical and business development sectors of flame retardants and polymers. Currently serving as Senior Technical Business Development Manager at Clariant since January 2017, Subra focuses on emerging markets in E-mobility and electronics, providing expertise in fire safety for engineering plastics and promoting sustainable non-halogenated flame retardants. Prior experience includes roles at Chemtura Corporation, where Subra contributed as Global Technical Service & Applications Development Manager and in various research positions, leading initiatives in technical solutions for polymer formulations. Subra's career began at Chemir Labs Inc, where leadership facilitated significant company growth. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology and dual bachelor's degrees in Technology of Plastics and Chemistry from the University of Mumbai.
